Water Reuse

Nano Filtration System

  • Reduces total (TDS) Total Dissolved Solids
  • Allows for further recycling of wastewater through removal of ionic contaminants
  • Compatible with our (CMF) Ceramic Microfiltration System
  • Membranes selected for specific water quality and waste stream needs

How it Operates

The Nanofiltration System is a cross-flow filtration system. Kemco’s NANO Systems utilize polymeric, spiral wound membranes which are specially formulated for industrial wastewater treatment. Using selective permeable membranes, the NANO System achieves removal of dissolved ionic contaminants such as Magnesium, Calcium, and Carbonates which make up (TDS) Total Dissolved Solids.

The NANO membranes also remove dissolved organic molecules such as detergents. Our (CMF) Ceramic Microfiltration System provides an excellent pre-filter for the very fine NANO membranes, assuring proper performance and membrane life.

Nanofiltration can improve the quality of treated water and increase the extent of wastewater recycling.
